Pantry Guidelines
Everything you need to know before visiting Betty's Table of Hope. You are always welcome here - no barriers, no shame, no conditions.
Who Can Come
- Any community member living in or around Idimu, Lagos State
- Widows, the elderly, and families with infants are prioritised
- Families experiencing sudden hardship, job loss, or illness
- Guests from neighbouring areas are welcome when supply allows
When to Come
- Every other Saturday starting August 1, 2026
- Arrive from 9:30 AM - distribution opens at 10:00 AM
- Distribution closes at 1:00 PM or when stock runs out
- No appointment needed - simply walk in on the day

Where to Go
- CAC Olubori Church, 10 Aglad Avenue, Harmony Estate
- Off Ogunrombi Road, Idimu, Lagos State
- Accessible by bus, keke, and local transport
- Look for the Betty's Table of Hope signage at the gate
- Volunteers will direct you from the entrance
Arrive & Check In
Come to CAC Olubori and check in with a volunteer at the entrance. Give your household size so we can prepare your package.
Receive Your Package
Volunteers will assemble a food package based on your household size. Packages include rice, garri, beans, yam, and cooking oil.
Head Home
Take your food and go. No forms, no waiting rooms, no embarrassment. You are always welcome back on the next distribution Saturday.
Please Do
- Bring a bag or container to carry your food
- Come at the published time - early arrival helps us serve everyone
- Inform a volunteer if you have dietary restrictions or special needs
- Treat fellow community members and volunteers with respect
- Share information about the pantry with neighbours who may need it
- Pre-register online if you can, to help us plan quantities
Please Don't
- Do not feel pressure to explain your circumstances
- Do not take more than your household needs so others can be served
- Do not arrive after 1:00 PM - we cannot guarantee stock
- Do not share personal details of other beneficiaries
- Do not offer payment - all food is completely free
Our Commitment to You
Every person who comes to Betty's Table of Hope is a guest of honour. We will never ask you to justify your need, prove your income, or feel embarrassed for seeking support. You are a neighbour, and this table is yours.
